Greens closure

Once again we have covered the greens due to cold temperatures.  Last night's low was 27 degrees, but the wind-chill felt like 22.  We took  necessary action to cover because right now is the most critical time for the greens.  As new, tender growth emerges we must protect it or suffer a setback in growth.  It was definitely a challenge pulling the covers yesterday with wind gusts of 40mph.  It took 5 of us about 3 hours.  HOPEFULLY this will be the last time!
